She's trying to kill me, volume 8,743

I took a 3 minutes shower... seriously, 3 minutes.  Came out to check on the little rug rat she stuck an ENTIRE book of stamps onto my front picture window.  Stamps came off, sticky stuff did not... so an entire book of stamps ruined and a now I have a lot of scrubbing to do.

As for #2... he/she is already trying to kill me by making me nauseas all day every day.  I'm also a lot more tired with #2 than Lorelai.  I wake up 5-6 times a night tossing and turning.

Oh well, they're just doing what comes naturally.

Yep, it's true!

I'm having a baby!  We are very excited to add to our family.  Lorelai is especially excited.  She kisses my belly all day every day.  She can't wait to have a "sister" to play with (she refuses to think it might be a boy).  October is going to take a long time to get here with this much anticipation.

Ty and I have been trying for so long, it was a bit of a shock.  I went and got a plain t-shirt and fabric marker and wrote "I'm going to be a big sister" on it.  I called Ty and told him Lo was missing him so we were going to stop by to say hello.  He met us in the parking lot and didn't notice at all, so I had to tell him to undo her car seat... and there it was!  He really freaked when I told him about being pregnant with Lorelai, but he handled it like a champ the second time around.

Later that day Lo and I were walking into the bank and she turned around and said "mom, I was afraid daddy would frow a fit"  I said "throw a fit?  why?" she said "because of baby".  I couldn't do anything but start laughing hysterically.   Sometimes she is wise beyond her years.

So far I'm feeling alright.  Excruciatingly tired.  Hormones are making me cranky.  Haven't been able to breath through my nose at night.  Other than that, not too shabby.

I can tell it's going to be harder this time around.  With Lo I could just nap when I wanted, work when I wanted, just do whatever the baby wanted me to do or was causing me to do.  This time, I'm still running on Lo's schedule but she's on the outside so the baby is taking a bit of a back seat.

With Lo I was just so excited to have a baby I just breezed through the pregnancy.  This time around I want to enjoy every second.  Plus, we have so much to do before he/she gets here.  Our basement is unfinished and we only have 2 bedrooms right now... we have a lot of work to do down there so we even have a place to put a baby anyway.

Alright, that's it for now.  Lo is requesting blueberries... I'm at her service!
